Hey My loves,

We have less than 2 months left before we enter into a new year and I’m here to say let’s make these last couple of weeks the best months of our lives. Let’s try to feel better… look better.. simply- let’s just try to look more beautiful. I’ve been working from home for a while now and I will say it’s hard sometimes to motivate yourself to dress up while at home but these simple tips that I’m about to share with you guys right now don’t involve you putting on makeup or buying fancy clothes any of that stuff. Although that can help too.

Look More Beautiful by Avoiding the Sun

If you’ve been following me for a while and watching my Instagram stories; then you know how I feel about Sun hats. I wear them religiously. I do walk almost daily unless the weather prohibits me from going out. But I try my best to only go out during the morning hours when the Sun is not too damaging and I for sure wear hats. Did you know damage from the sun’s UV light (UVA and UVB rays) is responsible for about 90% of your skin’s visible signs of aging? UV rays break down the elastin in your skin, causing a saggy and dull appearance, wrinkles, age spots, and uneven skin tone. Oh, might I add the Sun is still out on cloudy days so be sure to wear your sunscreen and hats always.

Look More Beautiful By Staying Hydrated.

I can’t stress this enough; I swear it’s not cliche. Drink your water plenty of it, not only is it good for you but it helps to keep a youthful appearance on your skin. Dehydration can cause your skin to look flaky and dry — which only emphasizes wrinkles and aging. Drinking enough water each day replenishes your skin’s tissue and cells, allowing for younger and healthier-looking skin.

Glow Baby. (Keep Moisturized)

So just like we need water to stay hydrated from the inside out. We also need to be sure we’re using the right kind of moisturizer consistently. A well-moisturized skin looks way more beautiful than dry ashy flaky skin. It is also stronger and better able to fight off any irritants from our environment.  Not all moisturizers and Creams are created equal.  It is important to use Clinical Grade products with better absorption and penetration into the skin and higher active ingredients for best results, backed by clinical studies proven to treat and protect the skin. I love ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and ceramides.

Eat A Well Balanced Diet.

I won’t preach to you about this, but I will say to try to eat more vegetables than meat during the week. There are tremendous benefits to eating fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables also up your intake of phytonutrients, which help your body ward off the damaging effects of free radicals found in the environment.

Limit Alcohol & Caffeine

We all know too much of anything isn’t good right? Well, too much Alcohol and or caffeine isn’t good either. I actually don’t drink alcohol really as I rather eat my calories hahaha and I’m not much of a coffee person. I usually do Decaf. But both can dehydrate your body and rob it of key nutrients. What’s even worse is that some of these effects can be permanent and can show up on your skin.

Sleep!!!

Mehnnn I know for sure I’m getting older if I’m including sleep, lol. You guys for the longest time I dreaded sleeping lol I never wanted the day to be over I wanted to stay up and watch movies or work on my blog- anything but sleep. But now I’ve realized that is the worst thing I could ever do to my body. Your body needs sleep as much as you need to breathe and eat. When you’re sleeping, your body continuously releases hormones that promote cell turnover and renewal. So be sure to take advantage of that time. It’s important to apply retinol at night to really make it impactful. Invest in a satin pillowcase as well as this really does wonders for your skin.

Move That Body

Moving your body every day is pretty much a bulletproof way to look youthful and beautiful. Staying active is helpful in maintaining a healthy weight, you can simply just walk in your neighborhood for a few minutes a day and that alone will help a ton. Exercising also increases blood flow, moving oxygen and critical nutrients throughout your body, which leads to a more youthful appearance. regular exercise is critical to maintaining strength and muscle mass, which can add years to your lifespan.

Develop A Skincare Routine.

A skincare routine is crucial to looking younger and more beautiful. It is so much easier to help prevent the damage before it begins. Always use a gentle cleanser and exfoliant, and make sure that you’re using quality treatments and serums for your skin type and needs. And moisturize daily to increase your skin’s elasticity and keep it hydrated. My Skincare Video {Here}
