Fall is right around the corner; sigh. I mean don’t get me wrong I do love the cooler months but I’m not quite ready for Summer to be complete, maybe after the family and I head to an amusement park/ water park, that’s when I can truly say goodbye to Summer oh and one last bite of a s’more yeap that’s it. But if I’m going to be super honest here, then I will go ahead and say Fall Fashion is my absolute fave. I love nothing more than to layer an outfit, and Fall allows you to do just that. I don’t know what it is but something about a layered look, which includes a tank, or a button-down with a blazer or jacket paired with a nice pair of trousers or your favorite denims just screams money baby, it’s giving expensive. Okay now let’s get started.

Wearing Neutrals “Beige”

Outfits in materials like wool, cashmere, linen, silk, etc., worn in the color beige, impart an air of opulence and refinement to your appearance. The various tints of this shade exude stylishness regardless of the season; however, during the Fall, the presence of beige gives warmth and comfort to your outfit.

Embrace Timeless Classics

Invest in timeless wardrobe staples that effortlessly exude luxury. A well-fitted trench coat, a tailored blazer, and a high-quality cashmere sweater are pieces that not only keep you warm but also elevate your entire outfit. Opt for neutral tones such as camel, navy, and deep burgundy to create an elegant and cohesive Fall palette.

Quality Over Quantity

When it comes to looking expensive, quality should always trump quantity. Instead of filling your closet with numerous low-quality items, invest in a few well-made, high-end pieces. Focus on materials like leather, silk, and wool, as they not only look and feel luxurious but also tend to last longer.

Monochromatic Baby

An easy trick to instantly elevate your look is to go monochromatic. Choose a single color and build your outfit around it. This creates a streamlined and sophisticated appearance. For Fall, rich tones like emerald green, deep plum, and charcoal gray can be incredibly flattering and give off an aura of style. I decided to go denim on denim for my monochromatic look.

Pay Attention to Details

The devil is in the details, and the smallest touches can make a huge difference. Opt for accessories that scream quality, such as a structured leather handbag, a polished statement watch, or a pair of statement sunglasses. These items may require a bit more investment, but they’ll add a touch of luxury to even the simplest outfits. I will say though you don’t have to break the bank to look good there is definitely places you can shop accessories that are well made but half the price.

Tailoring is Key

Regardless of the price tag, ill-fitting clothes can instantly cheapen your look. Invest in tailoring to ensure that your clothing fits your body perfectly. A well-tailored blazer or a pair of pants can take your outfit from average to exquisite. Speaking of, I have to take my camo pants to the seamstress to cinch in the waist for that perfect look.

Choose the Right Fabrics

The choice of fabric can significantly impact how expensive your outfit looks. Avoid shiny or cheap-looking fabrics and instead opt for natural materials like wool, cashmere, silk, and suede. These fabrics have a luxurious texture and appearance that can instantly upgrade your ensemble. Notice I’ve been saying that with everything, always make sure you are going for the best fabrics.

Minimalism Speaks Volumes

Less is often more when it comes to looking expensive. Embrace a minimalist approach to your styling, focusing on clean lines and simple silhouettes. Avoid excessive embellishments or patterns, and instead, let the quality of your clothing speak for itself.

Footwear Finesse

Don’t overlook the power of a sophisticated pair of shoes. Invest in well-made, classic footwear that complements your Fall wardrobe. Ankle boots, loafers, and sleek pumps can effortlessly elevate your look, even if you’re wearing a more casual outfit. I swear by this; a basic tee and jeans can look so good by just adding a classic pair of pumps.

Confident Posture and Attitude

No outfit can truly shine without the right attitude. Stand tall, exude confidence, and carry yourself with poise. Confidence is the key to pulling off any outfit, no matter the price tag. I recently saw a picture of someone online and she was wearing a swimsuit and the facial expression and posture immediately made her look unattractive, had she exuded confidence her look would have been a 10.

So there you have it, looking expensive in the Fall is all about making thoughtful choices, focusing on quality over quantity, and paying attention to the finer details. By investing in classic pieces, tailoring your clothing, and embracing a minimalist approach, you can achieve a luxurious and elegant look that’s sure to turn heads throughout the season. And we love to turn heads over here okayyyy. Remember, confidence is the ultimate accessory that ties your entire look together.
