Hey, My loves! How are you guys? I wanna knowww lol- please feel free to comment below and let me know- we can chat it up. As for me, I’m doing good so far. At this time I’m guessing you already know that we moved to Texas and honestly, I’m still getting used to it. Well, getting used to the heat, but we will talk more about that. Texas is beautiful and big at least my area is very nice. I’m obsessed with it. It’s quiet just the way I like it and I don’t see much people hahahah. It’s very different from Pennsylvania like a lot different. In PA I was able to hide from the world, I felt safe and unseen unless I wanted to be seen. I barely went anywhere in PA which did bother me in the beginning but we were so busy with our business that I just didn’t make it bother me much and I just adapted. I still went on my walks etc but that was it really. We lived far away from everything so to get anywhere you needed to drive far. Also, where we lived the temperature was always 10 degrees colder so imagine our winters…yeap it sucked. But our Summers were beautiful as it never went past 85 degrees. I really got used to being a country girl …I mean ya’ll… I lived with bears lol they made regular appearances at my house…I mean like the entire family. Plus there were also deer lots and lots of Deer which meant Deer poop everywhere in our front lawn. But I thought that was my new norm I was away from people that hurt me the most and I felt comfortable but most importantly not Hot!!!
But since living in Texas I’ve realized that I’m truly a city girl hahahha. I love dressing up, I love going out to new places, I love wearing makeup, I love going to the mall …Ya’ll to get to a Sephora was 40 minutes away driving in PA, now I have a Sephora literally right around the corner. I’m close to a Walmart. Target, HomeGoods you name it. So basically I feel like myself in the city like I unlocked Kelly again, and I love that for me. I don’t want to be that girl in PA who did nothing and just existed or went out once in a while… I wanna be outsideeeee hahaha …well not for long lol but you get it. So I’m happy here and you guys should be too because I’ll be sharing all my looks with you guys. I’ll be sure to let James or X snap a picture just like he did for me here. It was getting dark so the picture quality wasn’t the best but I had to get a pic. Oh, and Texas is Hot, the humidity is insane and I’m sweating eww I hate to sweat lol.
I so love how this color blocking moment came together as I was running extremely late to a crab boil event hosted by my realtor, and had no real time to think of an outfit. I got this shirt from a thrift store here in Texas and I just loved the color and how oversized it was. I knew I would pair it with orange but I thought it would be my orange Yankee cap, but this look that I put together in 5 mins, came out far better than what I actually had planned. After the event James and I went to our fave Poke spot and then decided to go to our fave ice cream shop as the night felt amazing. All in all I had a great day. I’ll share what I wore below.
