When I tell you this is the only coat you need in your closet right now, believe me. I’m beyond obsessed. Emerald green is one of my favorite colors and we have my birthstone color “Emerald” to thank for that. I just love how it compliments my skin tone. Bright colored coats are really necessary in the Winter months especially for me as I do not live in the city -so everything is pretty much grey for me; which is why that bit of color always brings life to my outfits.
This coat is perfect. The fit is a bit oversized, it’s the perfect length and I’m loving the huge buttons as the finishing touch. Outerwear should be the most important piece in your closet during the Winter; as it’s the first thing people notice. I decided to go all black with this look as I didn’t want to take any attention away from the coat. I of course plan to wear it in so many ways, but felt it was only right I paired it with black for its big debut hahaha.
I loved the hints of gold throughout the outfit, it totally elevates the look by taking it up a notch. Always complete your outfits with accessories, either that be jewelry, and or headwraps like I did with this look. Headwrap is from, Wrapqueen.com
Let me know if you’re a fan of bright winter coats as well. If so what are your go-too colors. I’m on the hunt for an exact version like this but in fuschia pink.

So I’m back and I’m color blocking today, honestly my favorite thing to do. Y’all already know how I feel about putting colors together orange and pink are my favorite. But when I got this shirt I knew right away I wanted to wear it with these Mustard/ Yellow pants that I had; and I felt like it looked perfect. I actually had the greatest Idea with this look ….I wanted to wear it for Jamaica independence August 6th against a black wall but we had so much going on that we didn’t quite get to do so. But can you imagine that tribute to my country- lol totally looking like my flag.
Did you guys notice that I’m wearing another puff sleeve top…clearly I’m obsessed. It’s not as dramatic as the one I’m wearing here but I still love it nonetheless as it makes a statement; and I’m always here for statement pieces. Oh and can you believe it’s from Amazon? I got it in a size large just so I could have a bit more room although; I could have gone with a medium.
Okay can we talk about my headwrap for a sec, because yesssss!! It’s so pretty the colors are everything. We dropped some new items on Wrapqueen.com and it sold out immediately, this one I’m wearing included. We recently restocked and it’s going again so if you love it you already know what to do my loves!

So if you’ve been following me for a bit you know I love a good statement blazer ,overcoat, cami etc. I just think they make anything look good. I mean literally you can be wearing a T-shirt and jeans or a cute denim shorts and just by adding a simple blazer you instantly look amazing. Trust me! I especially though- live for a blazer in color. I think I own practically every color at this point except orange I donated a lot of things last year and I think I accidentally got rid of it…..so madd it was a good one. I intend on wearing them all Summer long in different ways.
This pic was taken in 2014 wow- I honestly would wear this again- minus the shoes because ummm haha
Moving right along…this particular blazer is thrifted. You can find so many good ones at thrift shops. If they are oversized that’s even better- but if you want a more fitted look then that’s when I would suggest taking it to your seamstress. I use to wear my pink blazer often when I worked in the corporate world… yeap I was the brightest girl in the office lol. As I look back; now I realize I was totally not meant for that world at all- I never followed the dress code I even wore my headwraps to work -hahah fun times. Anyway I knew I wanted to wear pink and yellow such a pretty combo to me. The colors just pop and I had the perfect headwrap to go with.
Fun fact as we took these pics it was starting to rain, you know the nasty misty rain it was also very cold and windy and I was trying not to tear up- which is why I turned my head to the side in the pic above lol. Hubby had his umbrella up to protect his camera- so many people were passing bye like- is sis crazy- but the job had to get done. I was determined to get my shots.
I really wish I got a closeup of my nails -they went so good with my headwrap but as I said it was raining sooo I couldn’t do extra but next time I gotchu.
Thanks for Reading guys- Love uzzz!

What it dewwww baby….I just had a latte so I’m all caffeined up. I’m somewhat of an addict now tbh. We have a Nespresso machine and my gawdd it’s the best damn latte ever. Also the weather is super nice and the sun is shining and I’m alive and healthy. It’s the simple things in life that I truly appreciate these days. And trust me I have a ton on my plate as we speak. I have an email to write for WrapQueen I have to name about 10 headwraps which is fun and stressful at the same time. I’ve been naming headwraps for 5 years now. My brain is like wtf Kelly get some help. Which I do plan on getting in the very near future. But I try to see the beauty in everyday and you should too. Moving on to what we are really here for shall we.
So lately I’ve been loving mini skirts I mean I always loved them and I remember wearing them to my corporate job with tights and everyone would be like girllll wtf its a bit short…. but YOLO. I wanted to be the sexy front desk girl lol my excuse was I barely get up no one sees me hahah. But now fast forward it’s Spring time and these skirts are totally on trend and I’m here for it. Plus I love my tatt on my leg and never get to show it off- and for all the pain I went through to get this tatt yall gonna see it lol- omg I swear it’s the caffeine talking. Anywho I’m obsessed with the color so bright and fun -I actually bought another color and contemplating buying another style too. You guys know I’m a jeans girl -so you will get those looks but I’m having so much fun in these right now. I’m a real girly girl.
I’ve never paired Orange with Pink before always Pink and yellow but I’m loving this combo way too much plus with my headwrap like sissss get into it. It’s beyond perfect. I decided to with a neutral with the shoe. I almost did a clear heel as they go with anything but decided to go with gold my second fave color after yellow; and it works. Would you guys rock these colors together too? Lemme know in the comments.
