Denim has been a staple fabric in the fashion industry for decades, and it continues to evolve with new trends and styles. You guys already know how much I love denim. I live by it. But today we are going to talk about the latest denim trends to make a comeback and that is the long denim skirt. Long denim skirts were popular in the 90s and early 2000s, and now they’re back in style with a modern twist.
Long denim skirts are versatile and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. They are a great alternative to jeans, providing the comfort and casual feel of denim while adding a touch of elegance and femininity. The length of the skirt varies, but most of them fall below the knee or ankle, making them appropriate for both casual and formal events.
There are several ways to style a long denim skirt. For a casual look, pair it with a basic t-shirt or tank top and some sneakers or sandals. You can also layer with a denim jacket or a sweater for a different vibe. For a more dressy look, pair the skirt with a blouse or a fitted top, some heels, and a statement necklace or earrings. Honestly Styling a denim skirt is as flexible as styling denim pants. You have the option to elevate them with a pair of heels and a blazer or keep it casual with a t-shirt and sneakers like I mentioned before. The possibilities are endless and entirely up to your personal preference.
The long denim skirt trend is also sustainable and eco-friendly. Denim is a durable and long-lasting fabric, and by choosing to wear a long denim skirt, you’re investing in a piece of clothing that you can wear for years. Trust me although it’s a trend now; it’s one of those pieces that will forever be timeless in your wardrobe. Also, many fashion brands are now producing sustainable denim, which reduces the environmental impact of the fashion industry, and that’s always cool.
One of the best things about the long denim skirt trend is that it’s inclusive. It suits all body types and can be worn by women of all ages. Whether you’re tall or short, curvy or slim, there’s a long denim skirt that will flatter your figure and make you feel confident and stylish. And umm we are always here for that.
So let me know below in the comments. Are you guys convinced yet? Will you be embracing this trend? As I stated earlier It’s a timeless piece that can be dressed up or down and can be worn for years to come. So try it out y’all I will link a few below that are my faves and see how you can incorporate it into your wardrobe.

It’s officially Fall and I couldn’t be anymore excited. Honestly I’ve yet to meet anyone who doesn’t love the Fall season. I’m especially obsessed as I’m surrounded by trees so I get to see the leaves slowly turning and it makes me feel so good. But if I’m being completely honest; I truly love Fall fashion. Boots, trench coats, hats, Headwraps, leather jackets, denim jackets ugh I dieeee. And I’m sure you’re here because you are a lover of Fall Fashion too. So let’s jump right in shall we.
Bright Pink
Colors are super in for Fall and I’m here for it. Don’t get me wrong I intend on rocking Fall colors such as; Mustard, Beige, Orange. Rust, Olive Greens and all- but I love that we have the option to still style our Summer/ Spring Pieces this season. The “it” color on the runways and seen all over NYFW worn by influencers is Bright Pink/ Fuschia. You can totally rock this color with browns, beiges and black to tone it down a bit. You can also pair this color with leopard print for a guarantee pop. I linked a few outerwear you can style nicely this season.
I mean who are we kidding; leather jackets as always been in style and on trend. This season it’s being worn a bit more oversized. However It’s a closet staple, and quite frankly if you don’t own a leather jacket I’m pretty much giving you the side eye right now. But no need to fret I’ve linked a few good ones for you guys.
I’m actually loving this one for Fall. I bought one last year and I’m obsessed . They look great with skirts, shorts, dresses and straight leg or my fave style of jeans; “Skinny”. Another one to add is cowboy boots, all the it girls have been styling them and they look great.
Listen….I’m so happy about this trend like honestly why did it ever leave. I love feminine clothing, ruffles, skirts, tulle dresses, I love it all; so to have midi skirts come back is everything.
